The closing of the 25 Years celebration has been initiated with the sport tournament on the 4th and the 5th of February 2012 during which 15 teams from different Universities were present as participants, Marist International University College, Stratmore University, Cooperative University, Apostles of Jesus and Tangaza College. The competition was composed by Football, Volley Ball, Basket Ball, Net Ball and Karate. The students from different Universities came to Marist International University College where the sport competition took place.














The main celebration to mark the end of the Jubilee of Marist International University College will be on the 10th of February 2012. The celebration will start at 9 am with the Mass which will be presided by the Archbishop or his representative.
More than 35 guests as former Students Brothers of MIUC during the 25 years are coming to join the 120 Brothers at MIUC, the biggest Marist community in number. The Marist Brothers are present in more than 17 Countries in Africa.

Fianarantsoa is one of the cities in Madagascar where the Marist Brothers have their mission. In January 2012, at St Charles's Parish Church, the Brothers in Fianarantsoa with the christians and young people were in celebration of the 100 years of the presence of Marist Brothers in Madagascar. The opening of the Centenary was on the 13th to 15th of August 2011 in Antsirabe.
