Caroline Mutonga is a young student at Strathmore University in Nairobi, Kenya.
She has produced her first album with worldwide reach.
The album with ten songs is about the composer's invitation to humanity
to believe in God as the one caring for our life.
These songs are a prayer of heartfeelings expressing the pain and joys of life.
And above all, God's grace is taking place in our life, 'He holds me up'.

This album was made from the project to develop the talents of young people. Thanks to all who helped to promote young people.

On 14 February 2010, the small town of Nasandratrony, about 20 km away from Fianarantsoa city in Madagascar was in a particular jubilation because our brother Elise was elevated in the rank of deacon in the Roman Catholic Church. Andry Nirina Elise as many of us who have lived or are still living in Nairobi know, belongs to the Augustin de l’Assomption known as assomptionists. He studied theology in Nairobi, at Hekima College off Ngong Road. He was an active member of Malagasy association of Kenya.



The Eucharistic celebration, presided over by his Lordship, the Archibishop of Fianarantsoa, Fulgence Rabemahafaly, began at around 9 am and attended by several priests and many religious brothers and sisters of different congregations and many Christians of the district.



After mass, the celebration continued with a family meal prepared by the Sisters working in the town. As you can see in the picture, the mother and the father of the ordained were presents.
According to the information we got, the society of the Assomptionists has got three branches. The Assomptionist fathers who have been in Madagascar since long time, the Assomptionist sisters and the Little sisters of the Assumptions. All are working in Madagascar.



The Deacon Elise will be working in Nasandratrony, a district run by the Assomptionist fathers represented by Father Martin whom we know because he also attended Hekima College and the Catholic University of Eastern Africa, both in Nairobi, Kenya. However, the Deacon is also working in Fianarantsoa as a formator.



FMSFRIENDS WOULD LIKE TO WISH THE DEACON ELISE A WONDERFUL PERIOD AS DEACON. WE ALSO INVITE ALL OUR FRIENDS TO PRAY FOR HIM SO THAT GOD WHO CALLED HIM IN THIS MINISTRY WILL ALWAYS BE WITH HIM.
